Please bring a towel to class. We supply yoga mats however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Beginner Courses

“I always think yoga poses look amazing, but exceptionally difficult, until I started on the classes. The step-by-step learnings made yoga a do-able task, you don’t need to be special to do it! And I started to feel proud of my own body.” — Sin Kaan Chan

The Beginner Course is a fantastic introduction to yoga. Our certified teachers will show you step by step the foundations of Iyengar yoga. We can modify poses or give alternatives so that everyone can do the class, regardless of age or physical condition.

  • Choose up to 3 classes a week for 6 weeks (see timetable)

“My favourite thing about Darwin Yoga space is the serene atmosphere.
It’s as beautiful as being outside in nature but provides protection from the elements.
Oh, and the great teachers!” – Tracey Polglaze
